Hello I'm Jarod Boots, A Voice Actor and Red Seal Carpenter. My Journey has been an interesting one, starting from building houses in the private sector to the film industry constructing sets. I’ve volunteered in theater designing and crafting sets, for music festivals making scenery and even DJ’d at a local bar.
But my true passion has always been to get behind the mic. As a kid i would recite lines from Star Trek and Batman the Animated Series frequently, also would tape songs off the radio and insert my voice between tracks posing as a radio jockey.
Today I've turned my childhood passion into a career. I’ve invested heavily into my skills as a voice actor and have built a broadcast quality booth. My voice is low register, neutral american, relateable, conversational and warm. Through technique coaching I know I can bring a unique sound to the project.
I’m not afraid of hard work and always ready to go the extra mile to achieve my goals. I take direction well and welcome criticism. My home studio is equipped with a fully treated booth rocking -70 to-80db, Audiotechnica 2020 mic, Presonus Audiobox Usb96 interface, Direct line fibre optic internet, IPDTL ready, Source Connect ready.
